Gabriel Alejandro Garay (b. 1987, Unquillo, Córdoba, Argentina) is a self-taught artist. Between 2001 and 2004, he trained at the studio of Álvaro Izurieta in Unquillo, where he developed the foundations of his practice.
Garay has received several distinctions throughout his career, including a Special Jury Mention at the Río Cuarto Painting Salon (2023) and selections for the Bancor Award (2014, 2023) and the Río Cuarto Painting Salon (2015). In 2003, he was awarded First Prize at “Dalí, Surrealism” at the UNC Cultural Center in Córdoba.
His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions across both public and private venues, and he has participated in art fairs throughout Argentina. His works are held in private collections, including the collection of the Córdoba Culture Agency.
